Rehabilitation Psychologist (RCI)

Ms. Saniya is an RCI Licensed Rehabilitation Psychologist with experience in working with individuals facing a wide range of psychological and emotional challenges. She is committed to helping clients improve their mental well-being, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and achieve personal growth through evidence-based psychological interventions.
She has experience working with individuals struggling with addiction, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Her approach focuses on understanding each client’s unique experiences and providing structured therapeutic support tailored to their individual needs.
Ms. Saniya follows an eclectic therapeutic approach, integrating techniques from multiple evidence-based therapies while maintaining a humanistic, client-centered perspective. She believes that therapy should be collaborative and respectful of each individual’s personal experiences, values, and pace of change.
She has worked with both adolescents and adults in clinical settings, helping them navigate challenges related to stress, emotional regulation, interpersonal conflicts, and behavioural concerns. She integrates therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), supportive therapy, behavioural interventions, psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention strategies.
In addition to addiction recovery, she also works with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, anger issues, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and adjustment problems.
Ms. Saniya believes in creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental therapeutic space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves. Her goal is to empower individuals with the tools and understanding needed to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.
